¡Bienvenidos! Welcome, my name is Juliana and I offer excellent Spanish tutoring services for middle and high school students enrolled in Spanish within Gwinnett County, GA. If you or your child struggles to pass tests, receive desired grades, retain and use information, or simply could use additional guidance, I am here to help. My Expertise
My Spanish learning journey started when I was 13 and enrolled in my first Spanish class. I took 3 years of Spanish between middle and high school and graduated with the intent to use my Spanish in my healthcare career.
I realized 3 years was not enough to use my Spanish on a professional level, so at the beginning of 2019, while I was attending nursing school, I decided to dedicate my spare time to learning Spanish, real world Spanish. I spent a majority of my time reading and analyzing text books, to not only learn to speak the language, but learn the best methods to understand a foreign language.
Today, in 2024 I am studying to become a Georgia-state certified medical interpreter and I have progressed significantly since I initiated my studies. Over the years, I have reviewed many Spanish teaching websites, books, and other recourses and have formulated many lesson plans of my own, and also focused my studies on the psychology and science behind learning a foreign language. I am happy to announce that in 2023 I started writing my own textbook which I plan to publish as an all-included real-world Spanish course.
Along this journey I have gained expertise in learning Spanish and in teaching Spanish as well.
Book an Initial Meeting
Interested in my tutoring services? Book an initial meeting, free of charge, where I assess the student’s proficiency level, and tutoring needs. During this initial meeting, I will pin-point where they stand academically in Spanish, and help with goal setting and goal orientated plans. I will also assess student’s strengths and weaknesses, in order to focus on specific topics so I can create personalized lessons and notes. In this meeting I will also explain how my services are scheduled, meeting plans, and pricing. Initial meeting will take place over zoom.
